Near Hagerman and picturesque Thousand Springs State Park, Billingsley Creek offers up some of the best spring creek Trout fishing in the State. This creek can be a mystery at times and requires all the skills a fly fishermen possess. Rainbows and Browns live in pods up and down the creek and are very spooky when nonchalantly approached. This is one Spring Creek that flies under the radar.

This freestone river is EXCELLENT from when the run off ends to Winter closes the roads. Rainbows and Cutthroat Trout.
The South Fork Boise River is truely a secret place rarely heard of or fished outside of Idaho. This Gen is one of the great rivers of the West. A five star Blue Ribbon Rainbow Trout fishery that has only a fraction of the anglers other famous Trout rivers have. Part of the reason this river remains great is 95% of all Trout are released and NO guides are allowed to work there. The river is only closed April and May which leaves the rest of the year to enjoy the river and it's large Rainbow.
World-class fly fishing at its finest. Rainbow Trout test even the best anglers on this fantastic stretch of the Snake River. This is Mecca to fly fishermen everywhere. Both the upper and lower sections can be challenging any time of the year. The Henry's Fork is located in Eastern Idaho where many other famous Trout waters are less than an hour away.
Typically considered two separate streams, the Big Lost River and Little Lost River flow in the same drainage system and become subterranean (hence the "lost" name). You can find excellent Rainbow here, if you know where to look.
Technically the shortest flowing river in the world but don't be fooled, this is pocket water Rainbow dry fly fishing at it's best. Most fly fishermen wait until late summer or fall to fish this gem. Loacated near Hagerman Idaho this little river is definetly worth the trip to fish.
This river is truely one of the finest Trout rivers in the world. Excellent Rainbow and Brown Trout fishing. "55 Miles Of Riffle" so be prepared to hop rocks or bring your drift boat. There is no section better than the other, just pick your poison.
This used to be a secret river to the locals of Oregon and Idaho but the last decade the cats been let out of the bag. You will find the best Brown Trout fly fishing in the Nortthwest. The Owyhee has an aboundance of western hatches that can be fished on the surface or below the surface. This section runs from the Owyhee Damn down severn miles.
This 96-mile tributary of the Snake River is a prized ribbon fishery in southeast Idaho offering prized cutthroat fishing.
The Middle Fork has around a hundred tributaries; over 300 rapids and offer some of the best and challenging river fishing in the world. The road goes to the rivr and stops at Boundry Creek Boat Ramp. From there you have to hike and fish the river. It's all Cutthroat Trout in the most wild river in America.
Silver Creek is a world famous spring creek with large poulations of Rainbow and Brown Trout. Like all spring creeks, Silver Creek will test your fly fishing skills to the max. These Trout have been fished over by many aglers and are a bit picky at times on what they eat or seem to eat. Silver 'Creek is famous for it's Brown Drake Hatch that happen early June every year.
Arguably one of the top 3 or4 Trout rivers in America, both the upper ( above Pallisades) and the lower ( below Pallisades ) offers some of the most incredable trophy Rainbow, Brown and Cutthrout trout fishing in the West. This is huge water. The summertime flow's can be over 20000 cfs. The islands and braids leave perfect water for trout to be hunted and caught. Many fly fishermen from all over America venture to Idaho to fish these famous waters every year.
The Teton River has 2 sections, the upper and the canyon. The canyon can be hard and difficult to reach but the upper section is easly reached and fished. The upper section is spring creek like and fished best from a drift boat or other floating platforms. Rainbows are along most of the river as it winds and turns thtough the valley floor.
